- A great day for Hiking
Den 1 and some members of den 5 went for a Geocache hunt on the B and A trail. Undeterred by weather, they pressed on through the snow for a great find near Hatton Register Green. After signing the log and returning the geocache the boys conducted a park clean up and enjoyed hot apple cider.

SS John Brown WWII Liberty Ship
The Webelos enjoyed a night aboard the SS John Brown Liberty ship last weekend with friends from Pack 858. The scouts learned all about the role of the Liberty ships during the war, how they worked, how to tie knots, and what life was like aboard the vessel. they even got to sleep in authentic sailor “racks.” As always, a classic 918 menu was served from the kitchen and a good time was had by all.

Wolf Update
Thanks to everyone who has been getting their achievement inventories turned in. It looks like lots of Wolves will be earning the Wolf badge at our next pack meeting. If you have any questions about the wolftrax spreadsheet, just let me know. It simply lists all the requirements in a spreadsheet form so you don’t have to constantly flip through the handbook to see what needs to be done.
Wolves planning skits for the next Pack meeting and Camp Out
The Wolf cubs spent their last den meeting rehearsing a number of skits for presentation at either the April Pack Meeting or the Spring Camp Out. In a previous meeting they all made Indian Drums which they plan to bring to the Spring Camp Out for a Tribal Drumming Jam. We, as Den Leaders saw the power of 18 drums beating in unison and would love to see it repeated around a Len Morgan style roaring bonfire. Join us, it’s sure to be a great time.
