SS John Brown WWII Liberty Ship
The Webelos enjoyed a night aboard the SS John Brown Liberty ship last weekend with friends from Pack 858. The scouts learned all about the role of the Liberty ships during the war, how they worked, how to tie knots, and what life was like aboard the vessel. they even got to sleep in authentic sailor “racks.” As always, a classic 918 menu was served from the kitchen and a good time was had by all.
